About Thinking Arts

Treble ClefThinking Arts is an online music resource created for musicians and music lovers who want to increase their knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of music.

Established in September 2021, we are gradually adding courses and resources to our website while we build an online community of like-minded people.

Thinking Arts is based in Devon, UK and was founded by Richard Gonski and Rachel Miller, both of whom are experienced musicians and educators.

Thinking Arts provides a diverse selection of courses designed for both music lovers and practicing musicians. Our offerings include live Zoom sessions and recorded video courses, covering the history, appreciation, and performance of classical music.

An annual subscription gives access to all current and past courses, as well as a growing library of over 60 educational videos. The approach is both analytical and deeply appreciative, encouraging a mindful and creative engagement with music.
